This Saturday we will have our Halloween Family Festival and Fundraiser! Come one and all and bring your children (all and any ages!) to enjoy a special Halloween party at church. Saturday, October 26 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Lower Hall. Find more information here.
Sunday's worship (October 27) will be multigenerational. This means children and families will be welcomed to stay in the sanctuary and worship together. We will not depart for additional RE classes, nursery care provided for children 0-6.
Faith formation programming this weekend is participating in worship! Worship will be on the theme of All Souls and we will build an altar together to our beloved dead. RE classes will happen again on November 6th, and on November 10th. Check out the full RE calendar here.
Also, on Sunday afternoon (October 27), FCB Youth and several neighboring UU comminutes are participating in a youth-led housing justice action, hosted by First Parish in Arlington. All are welcome to attend to see what your youth are working on. Following the action, middle- and high-school-aged youth are invited to Capitol Theater for a viewing of the 2009 animated film 9, showing at 7:30 pm—tickets, popcorn, and soda included! You can learn more about what to expect here.
