Trans & Non-binary Children are Divine

This has been a difficult week. We are witnessing the current federal administration attack some of our most marginalized community members directly. Among many other things, it has been difficult to witness the attacks on gender-affirming care for minors. 

During this time when our beloveds are facing fear and discrimination, it is even more important that we are strong in our values. We affirm in our church that all children are divine, beloved, holy, and sacred. 

In this place, we will continue to care for, love, protect, and defend all queer and trans children. We will not stand for or allow attacks on their safety, access to healthcare, or right to exist peacefully in our communities. We will strive to create communities that do not just accept or tolerate who they are but that celebrate them in the fullness of their lives and experiences.
