Drive for Rosie’s Place and the Waltham Community Day Center

The two youths who gave a homily on Sunday, March 16, about the housing crisis will be partnering with our youth group to hold a drive for the next month. They will be collecting donations of items needed by the unhoused individuals who are supported by Rosie’s Place and the Waltham Community Day Center. Please help us provide this small bit of comfort to these people.

The most needed items for the Waltham Community Day Center are as follows:

  • Blankets and towels

  • Men’s and women’s sweatpants

  • Men’s pants, jeans, and belts

  • Men’s and women’s underwear (must be new and packaged)

  • All adult-sized clothes are greatly appreciated

  • Any non-perishables, but especially healthy snacks

The most needed items for Rosie’s Place are as follows:

  • Personal care items in BOTH travel and full sizes:

    • Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Floss, Deodorant, Soap, Body Wash, Lip Balm, Face Cream, Hand Lotion, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand Sanitizer, and wipes

  • Disposable shaving razors

  • Hairbrushes, picks, and combs

  • Elastic hair ties

  • Nail polish

  • Makeup

  • Paperback and hardcover books

Starting Sunday, March 23, and continuing for 3-4 Sundays, there will be a box labeled and set up for collection. Thank you for helping us offer comfort and dignity to those at the Waltham Community Day Center and Rosie’s Place.
