Reach Out
Please contact us if we might be of help or comfort. We count on the congregation to keep us in touch with pastoral needs of our community. Contact the church office or Rev. Jablonski at 617-484-1054, ext 15.
Pastoral Care
The minister is available for those in need of a caring, listening presence. This can be most keenly felt in time of illness, sorrow or loss; but is also important during transitions in life, times of gladness and celebration, times of reflection and contemplation. Please feel free to reach out to Rev. Jablonskiat any of these moments.

Lay Pastoral Care
The Lay Pastoral Care Team works with and supports the senior minister’s pastoral ministry in reaching out to all members and friends of The First Church in Belmont. We support those who are adjusting to change, loss, illness or death. We share in moments of celebration and happiness. We reach out to those who are unable to get out and who would like a visit. We share in situations that require a special touch of human kindness and an open ear.
Lay Pastoral Care Team members are trained to be a caring, listening presence, but not to counsel, perform therapy or offer advice. In all our contacts we remember the importance of confidentiality. The Lay Pastoral Care Team members will continue to be in contact with the Senior Minister regarding important information and will share information with each other only in order to benefit from mutual insight and support. Beyond this, all information imparted to the Lay Pastoral Care Team members will be treated with the same confidentiality that applies to the Senior Minister or as mandated by law.
