I was born in 1958. I have 9 brothers and 7 sisters. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to the United States when I was 11 years old. When I arrived in the United States I didn’t speak English and had difficulty learning it yet I continued my studies until 11th grade at the Cambridge Ridge and Latin High School. After the 11th grade I dropped out because my family was poor and I had to work hard to maintain them. My first job was working in a candy factory in Cambridge for 10 years. From there I moved on working as a mechanic. A friend recommended me to The First Church in Belmont in December 1998. I am very happy working at The First Church because everyone is nice and friendly to me. Thanks to everyone in the church for having me. I have enjoyed being here.
