Feb 21, 2010: Holy Conversations

There are times when discussions of certain topics are difficult.  When we strongly disagree with others, we can feel deeply hurt by what seems to be a dismissal of our concerns.  That can cause us to dismiss the concerns of those others, doing to them what we feel they are doing to us.  Within Unitarian Universalism and within First Church in Belmont, we are bound together in covenantal relationship.  That is easy to accept until we disagree deeply.  How do we talk, share and listen, making even our differences part of conversations that are sacred and holy?
