Mission
The Fellowship Committee strives to bring together individuals from all age groups and with disparate interests, and enable stronger personal connections, through a variety of community-building events.
Events differ from year to year, but typically include Sandy Island weekend in September, circle dinners, game night, an out door winter event, spring pot luck dinner, and the annual picnic in June.

Come join us for an informal gathering before our first “official” Sunday Service of the Year. Meet your friends after a long Summer with appetizers and good cheer.
7th Annual Sandy Island Weekend – September 16, 2011– September 18, 2011

With over 100 regular participants who make the yearly trek to Lake Winnepesaukee this weekend is turning into a cherished tradition to start off the church year. Reconnect with friends, make new friends while enjoying the many recreational opportunities in this YMCA camp or participate in volunteer organized activities. Among the activities offered over the weekend are a welcoming reception and game night on Friday evening, kayak and canoe trip around the island, the annual parent-vs-kids capture the flag game, Reiki sessions, a wine and cheese reception on Saturday Night, the campfire/singalong, a dance on Saturday night, lay-led worship service on Sunday morning, and many other opportunities to relax and play in a non-scheduled environment.
Circle Dinners – November 4, 2011
Circle Dinners are held in the fall to give people the opportunity to connect with other congregants early in the church year. Although the turnout of hosts and attendees is relatively small, the feedback from both is that the evenings are enjoyable and allow for attendees to make connections in a more intimate setting with a broader spectrum of members and friends of First Church. We work together with the Membership Committee to especially invite new members of First Church to attend one of the dinners.
Game Night – Friday, January 27, 2012
The annual Game Night is well-attended event for game lovers of all ages. From Twister to Poker, from board game to card game, there is something for every taste. We coordinate with Children RE, who usually plan a pizza party before the gaming part of the night begin.
