Facility Rental
The First Church in Belmont Unitarian Universalist, 404 Concord Avenue, Belmont, Mass., offers an historic location, rich in history. Our sanctuary and Parish Hall are available for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and other events. The Parish Hall and sanctuary can each accommodate up to 175 guests.
The Parish Hall, air-conditioned in the summer, features floor to ceiling windows, skylights and a beautiful oak floor, producing an airy and bright ambience, whether the day is sunny or cloudy. The hall can easily accommodate sit-down dinner for 175 or a buffet-style dinner for 150 guests, more guests if standing and dining casually.
Catering or a more informal potluck dinner can be cooked or assembled using the commercial-style brand-new kitchen on the first floor, just a few feet from the sanctuary and the Parish Hall.
The upper gathering hall, immediately outside the sanctuary, can accommodate easels of family photos, additional small round tables/chairs for casual dining, or additional tables where you can array hors-d’oeuvres, gifts, or place cards, or it can be used as a special space for cutting the wedding cake, additional floral displays or ice sculpture.
The church is located adjacent to the town’s common set with a miniature yellow and white house, originally the ticket kiosk for Belmont’s train station.
The First Church in Belmont is in Belmont, Mass. eight miles west of Boston-Cambridge. The church is located 10 minutes from the Belmont exits on Route 2 (Pleasant St.-Route 60 exit) and 15 minutes from the Massachusetts Turnpike-I-90 (Newton Corner exit).
