Music for a good cause is the occasion on Sunday, June 4th at 7:00 p.m. at The First Church in Belmont Unitarian Universalist, as community musicians present a benefit concert. Admittance is by donation and all proceeds will benefit the Pediatric SPARK (Supporting Parents and Resilient Kids) program at the Boston Medical Center. This program helps Boston’s highest risk children (5 and under) whose lives are affected by significant medical, emotional and behavioral challenges. This is the 39th annual concert that has supported this program.
The program will feature many of the church’s talented musicians, both students and adults, in musical styles that range from jazz to classical, from bluegrass to baroque, and everything in between.
The public is cordially invited to attend the concert in the Parish Hall at The First Church in Belmont, Unitarian Universalist, 404 Concord Ave, near Belmont Ctr. Admission is by donation. All proceeds go to the Spark program at the Boston Medical Center. A dessert reception will follow the concert. For more information, 617-484-1054 ext.13.
