The Grow Clinic FCB Committee Needs Your Help

Volunteers are needed to assist with emptying the Grow food baskets after church services and placing food in the closet prior to transport.  Volunteers are also needed to monitor the Grow Clinic bookshelves and take age-inappropriate books to the Belmont Public Library for donation.  Finally, volunteers are needed to help load and/or transport food to Boston Medical Center.  Training provided, as well as lots of appreciation from a cuddly giraffe!

The Grow Clinic committee coordinates food and money collection for The Grow Clinic for Children, an outpatient subspecialty clinic at Boston Medical Center that started in 1984 to provide comprehensive specialty medical, nutritional, developmental and social services and dietary assistance to children from the Greater Boston area referred with Failure To Thrive (FTT) by their primary care physician. In addition to providing clinical services, they advocate for policies that decrease the number of children in need. The Grow Clinic is part of BMC’s Department of Pediatrics.
