Infinite Vision with Suchitra Shenoy
A dear friend of Sandy Nayak’s, Suchitra Shenoy, will be telling the true story behind her new book Infinite Vision at church
on the Tuesday evening of Thanksgiving week. We hope you can join her for the extraordinary success story of Dr Venkataswamy (Dr V) whose goal has been to cure the world of blindness. To do so, he founded a small clinic in India using a unique business model that has created the largest eye care provider on the planet, where treatment is offered for free, and the organization remains ‘stunningly’ self-reliant. A rare opportunity to hear the author and learn about this amazing work. She will have copies of her book available.
Tuesday, Nov 22 @ 7:30PM in the church library
On-going groups meeting next week – All are welcome
Caring for Older Adults
Deborah Blumberg and Miriam Baker
Many people are juggling jobs, families and their parents’ or other family members’ increasing medical needs, frequent emergencies and ongoing need for care. How do we cope with the needs of our loved ones and find some balance in our own lives? What do we need to learn as we take on this task? How do we find information and community? If you find yourself in this position, you are welcome at this group for discussion and support.
